Host a travelling exhibit in your space
Urbanspace Gallery exhibits are made available to other organizations who would like to host them.
Exhibit hosting
Please let us know if you are interested in hosting one of our exhibits. They explore a wide range of topics related to city life in Toronto, like housing, walkability, environmental restoration, and informal urban economies. The exhibits are easy to display and could be accommodated in any number of spaces, for example, libraries, hallways, and public meeting rooms. Please also let us know of other organizations or venues that you think may be suited to hosting any of the exhibits.

Programming
As an exhibit host, we encourage you to organize any complementary exhibit programming, such as discussions, mapping work, community arts and anything else suited to the exhibit and the interests of your community.
Timing
Exhibits can be borrowed and displayed from 3 weeks to 2 months. Please let us know when and for how long you would like to show the exhibit and we will try to accommodate your schedule.
Mounting and space needs
Exhibits are on lightweight foamcore boards or heavy paper posters, and you may use all or just some of the panels to suit your needs and space. Exhibits are designed to be easily mounted, hung or suspended by grommets in the corners of each board. If feasible, assistance with installation is available.
Costs
The exhibits are provided for free. There are no costs associated with the exhibits except for what may be incurred through delivery or transportation, installing the exhibits, and programming.
Your responsibilities
You will be responsible for arranging delivery, publicity and programming, as well as taking the necessary precautions to ensure the exhibits are treated well so they can be used again in other venues after your own.
