Making Connections, a report by Park People, an independent charity that builds stronger communities by animating and improving parks, explores innovative public space strategies for intensifying cities. The exhibit outlines eight guiding principles for planning a network of parks and open spaces—across parks, streets, laneways, hydro corridors, and schoolyards—including specific examples of how these principles could be applied to Toronto’s core. The exhibit also includes a special focus on the history and culture of Toronto’s Green Line, a vision to create a linear park and trail in an urban hydro corridor.
